CEO & Co-Founder

Leading expert in trustworthy AI Prof. Hai Phan at NJIT, the founder and CEO of OppyAI, has over 11 years of expertise, with more than 80 publications on privacy and security, LLMs, and machine learning, particularly in software code generation and mobile computing. Prof. Phan has secured multi-million-dollar research funding, contributed to national AI privacy initiatives, and collaborates with industry and government to advance secure, adaptive AI systems. His innovations help organizations unlock sensitive data while ensuring compliance, security, and intellectual property protection. Phan will lead the overall technology design of OppyAI and oversee the execution of its operation and develoment.

Co-Founder

Renowned entrepreneur & scientist Co-founder Prof. Ruoming Jin in Computer Science at Kent State University with 170+ papers, most of which are in the top venues, the recipient of NSF CAREER award, and numerous patents. With an extensive publication record in top-tier venues, he has led multiple NSF-funded projects and shaped advancements in scalable computing. He co-founded GraphSQL (now TigerGraph), served as its founding CTO for four years, and helped GraphSQL/TigerGraph raise ~$35M in the angel and A round. Jin will help OppyAI in its strategic development direction.

Global Authority in Trustworthy AI Co-founder and Chief Science Officer (CSO) Prof. My T. Thai is a Research Foundation Professor and Nelms Endowed Chair Professor of CISE at the University of Florida with 7 books and over 350 publications. Thai (IEEE Fellow) was awarded the NSF CAREER Award, the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Young Investigator Award, and the IEEE Big Data Security Women of Achievement Award. Prof. Thai’s innovations have advanced the fields of Trustworthy AI and Optimization, earning her prestigious awards and leadership roles in the research community. Her research has been continuously supported by over $15 million in competitive funding from NSF, DoD, DTRA, and industry, enabling high-impact advancements in AI safety, resilience, and explainability. Through her interdisciplinary work, she bridges theoretical breakthroughs with impactful real-world applications. Thai will lead the scientific methodology and direction of OppyAI technology.
